Ahh Miami, the city where you flaunt it if you got it. Cars, jewelry, abs, purchased asses and breasts (au naturel too ovbi), you name it. Miami is where you come to see and be seen. Of course, you’ll want to listen to the perfect Miami playlist while you get ready to hit the nighttime scene. I mean, you gotta get into the proper mindset if you want to have all that swagger.
My first memory of this city is sitting at a sports bar on Ocean Drive and watching the luxury cars ease on by, basses thumping, the drivers and passengers all looking so fresh and so clean (clean) for their evening. Although I was not partaking in this particular party scene, I could immediately feel the energy of the partiers getting revved up for their evenings. It was a sense of excitement and anticipation of what the night would bring.
You probably know that Miami is filled to the brim with hot people. What you may not know, though, is that Miami is also filled with people who are not quite as hot. And those people, my friends, are the ones who wear the thong bathing suits. At least that was my observation during my visit. Anyhow, that’s neither here nor there.
What matters is that if you are looking for fun, you will find it in Miami.
It’s the place to go if you want to party in style, looking fly flashing all white threads and such. It can even be done somewhat on a budget if you can find the right happy hours. By the way, the cocktails during said happy hours can be enormous depending on where you go. In Miami Beach they clearly want you to get drunk, and they are not messing around.

If you have come to Miami to get wild ’til the bars close at 5 a.m., then I’ve got the perfect playlist for you. It includes drinking and clubbing anthems both old and new. Of course, I’ve got songs that basically scream Miami because, I mean, you have to. Then I’ve got my usual mix of old and new. What can I say? I’ve got a whole playlist in my head of all my older favorites, but I’ve always got a new find that I want to incorporate. Sadly, lately new finds tend to be slim pickins’ when all you have is the likes of Halsey and Billie Eilish to work with. Eek! It’s a sad year when Old Town Road is the only new song you like. Dammit, I am obsessed with that song…
